It’s approaching the end of August which only means one thing ‘round our way – it’s nearly time for West Fest! And this year, we’re planning a bigger and better event than ever before…
To get the party started, our back garden will once again be the location for our very own mini-festival featuring a host of talented local musicians including Matt Hamer (Wakestock, Camperjam), John Ainsworth (support act for Ben Howard), Nicky McCallan, James Crabbe Band, Charlie T, Old House Playground and many others.
To accompany the music, we will have the original and best West Fest barbecue on all weekend, serving a specially designed range of gourmet burgers and for those with a sweet tooth, Kate’s cake stall makes its annual appearance (get there early cake fans – last year was a sell out!).
If you feel inclined, you can enjoy the festival atmosphere with a beer (or Prosecco) or two. Wine connoisseurs will also find something to meet their satisfaction – we’re joined by the T Wright Wine Company over the weekend, who will be sampling their finest wines and are offering glasses of Bordeaux for only a fiver when purchasing a burger! #burgerandbordeux
The Great Didsbury Bake Off makes a return for the third year running, along with our as yet undefeated Beat the Breakfast Challenge.
So if you’re a West Fest regular or have never managed to make it down before, we hope to see you for a weekend of awesome food, good music and fun times.
