Hold onto your belly – the Beat the Breakfast Challenge is back!

eaten breakfast

On Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st August, we’ll be holding our 3rd annual Beat the Breakfast Challenge.

If you love our Full Didsbury or Foodie’s Breakfast, you’ll go nuts for this monster of a breakfast…with a stack of Frost the Butcher’s best bangers,  rashers of back bacon, eggs, mushrooms, pimped up beans, a tower of toast and much more… this plateful will definitely keep you going until dinner!

And best of all, if you finish it, you get it for free!*

Breakfast fans have come from far and wide (but mainly M20 postcodes) to try and beat our ultimate breakfast. In the past two years, we have had a couple of people come very close, but ultimately, no one has made it over the sausage-shaped finish line.

If you’re up for a big breakfast and a bit of fun, we will have 4 breakfast sittings throughout the West Fest weekend:

Saturday – 10 am and 11am

Sunday – 10 am and 11 am

If you’re too much of a wimp to take on the breakfast, you can come along and cheer on our challengers. As usual we will have a stall full of freshly baked cakes, delicious cheeses, olives and deli fare along with the original and best West Fest Barbeque; returning for the 6th year running.

How to Enter

The Beat the Breakfast challenge will take place in the Thyme Out Deli garden (weather permitting).

To guarantee your place in the ultimate foodie challenge, you can either call us on 0161 434 8686, email us on help@thymeoutdeli.co.uk or else simply come down on the day and we’ll try to fit you in.

So come along and join in the West Festivities at Thyme Out, celebrating doing business the Didsbury way.

Terms and conditions

*All entries cost £20. If you finish within the allocated time (30 minutes), your entry fee will be returned in full. Any challengers who do not show up on the day will not be entitled to a refund. All entrants will be allocated a time between 10 am and 1pm to attempt the challenge.
