The Beat the Breakfast Challenge is Back!

Didsbury vs. Food: Can you Beat the Breakfast?!

On Saturday 31st August and Sunday 1st September, we’ll be holding Didsbury’s second annual Beat the Breakfast challenge.

Last year, no one managed to conquer this most almighty of breakfasts, so this year, we’re throwing down the gauntlet once again.

The saying goes that you should “Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince, and dinner like a pauper”…

So as part of this year’s West Fest celebrations, we’re offering everyone the chance to eat like royalty with the king of all breakfasts. If you love our Full Didsbury or Foodie’s Breakfast, you’ll go nuts for our latest creation… loaded with Frost the Butcher’s best bangers, rashers of back bacon, free range eggs, flat mushrooms, a ladle of beans, a stack of toast and much more… this plateful will definitely keep you going until dinner! And best of all, if you finish it, we will donate the cost of the breakfast to charity!

So bring your mates and see who’s really got what it takes.

How to Enter

The Beat the Breakfast challenge will take place in the Thyme Out Deli garden (weather permitting).

To guarantee your place in the ultimate foodie challenge, you can either call us on 0161 434 8686, email us on help@thymeoutdeli.co.uk or else simply come down on the day and we’ll try to fit you in.

If you’re too much of a wimp to take on the breakfast, you can come along and cheer on our challengers. As usual we will have a stall full of freshly baked cakes, delicious cheeses, olives and deli fare along with the original and best West Fest Barbeque; returning for the 5th year running.

So come along and join in the West Festivities at Thyme Out, celebrating doing business the Didsbury way.

Terms and conditions

*All entries cost £20. If you finish within the allocated time (30 minutes), your entry fee will be donated to the Friends of Lancasterian charity. All entrants will be allocated a time between 10 am and 3pm to attempt the challenge.
